Join us for our Maundy Thursday Tenebrae service. A service of shadows.

An optional foot washing experience will be offered after the service.

Childcare will be available for ages 5 and under.

We invite all townspeople to join in praying for Andover. The event will commence at St. Augustine Church on Essex Street with coffee, orange juice, and hot cross buns at 8:00 am.

The walk will begin at 8:30 am, include stops at nine prayer points, and conclude at South Church on Central Street at approximately 9:30 am.

The route is approximately 1.4 miles mostly though downtown Andover. All ages are encouraged to attend -well behaved pets are welcome also! Clergy from nine different Andover churches will lead prayers for peace in the world, our schools, veterans, government officials, the elderly, first responders, our youth, for the churches, and their parishioners of the town. We hope you will join us!

Join us at 6:45 pm on Good Friday, April 18, 2025 for a special outdoor Good Friday remembrance at Point of Pines on the shore of Lake Cochichewick. All are welcome.

We will gather at 6:45 pm in the courtyard of Rolling Ridge. Please try to arrive on time or a few minutes early. Following an opening reflection, we will walk as a group to Point of Pines, our outdoor chapel along the shore of Lake Cochichewick. There are benches, with plenty of standing room. You are free, however, to bring your own folding chair.

Please dress warm and wear walking shoes. Point of Pines is about a quarter mile from the parking lot, which is approximately a 5 minute walk.  Because it may be dark when you leave, you may want to bring a flashlight. See below for weather updates. This event will occur rain or shine. The sun sets in either case. If light rain, please bring an umbrella as we will gather outdoors. If torrential rains, we will move the event indoors.
